KPFA Local Election Supervisor
Pacifica is governed by the Pacifica National Board, and each of Pacifica’s 5 stations is overseen by a Local Station Board elected by the members of that station. Pacifica is hiring a Local Election Supervisor for each station to oversee the election.
The duties are as follows:
Because of a communications glitch with the printer in California, the Election Ballots have been delayed. According to the printers, the ballots will not be mailed out until December 4, 2007. Continue to look for the blue envelope in the mail after that time. By the nature of this delay the election will be extended into January.

The premier ‘jazz and justice station’ in the nation’s capital WPFW- 89.3 fm is celebrating three decades of community and listener sponsored radio with a 30th Anniversary Gala that honors many of the political stalwarts in the movement for peace, social justice, civil and human rights.
"The purpose of WPFW-FM Pacifica is to provide outlets for the creative skills and energies of the community, to contribute to a lasting understanding between individuals of all nations, races, creeds and colors, and to promote the full distribution of public information. Programming on WPFW will principally be a mix of jazz, Third World music, news and public affairs.
