Esther King Candidate Statement
I have enjoyed and benefited from KPFT’s Programming since 1967. A large part of my social and political consciousness is derived from this long association with that unique source of consistent radio programming over all these years.
I want to work with others as a KPFT board member to specifically maintain and broaden KPFT’s exposure to an ever large African-American listening audience.
I want to use my long history as an activist in the Houston area to promote KPFT’s blend of an information/entertainment mix to a segment of Houston’s population that has in my judgment an acute need of that kind of programming.

WBAI is bankrupt. These elections should be cancelled and redone due to the censorship of candidates that is taking place.
