Doc Bethune Candidate Statement

I am a current member of the LSB and the PNB. I serve on the Outreach Committee and Chair the Anti-Racism Committee and Diversity Committee on the local level and I am a member of the Personnel, Audit, Executive Director Search, and the Committee to Investigate Racism & Sexism. I Believe in KPFT and Pacifica because it is one of the most critical mechanisms for communicating the truth to our community.

I bring the ability to listen and believe that collaboration works for the good of the network. Collaboration with the diversity with the diversity we seek. We must keep the voice clear and open to the people. We must serve the people and remember that without them we don’t exist.
